Abbe Mait grew up in Port Washington, left to explore and teach, then boomeranged back to build a family with her hometown love. She’s now raising two daughters, two labs, and balancing a very full calendar. (Who has more energy? Still up for debate.)

With an eye for design and the itch to create something of her own, Abbe founded Novi Kids, a fresh and modern shop that brings a new take on baby and kidswear to the town she loves.

Novi is for families who want clothes that are cute and comfortable, playful and practical, and cool without trying too hard. It’s for the kids who run, dance, jump, laugh, snack, and spill on repeat.

Novi means “fresh” and “new.” And that’s exactly what Abbe is bringing home.
